Sep 30, 2004· I recently acquired an old Craftsman slow speed wet grinder, which was apparently never used, as it is in perfect condition, with cardboard packing still around the wheel. This is a horizontal axis unit with wheel dipping into the water, not a horizontal wheel type. The wheel is stated to be natural sandstone, and is 2 or 2 1/2 inches wide.
